Winner Selection:
The winner will be selected by judges. The winner will receive a paid slot at the Chreece Festival on August 29th, 2026.
Publicity and Content Usage:
By participating in the contest, participants retain ownership of their performance videos but grant the contest organizers a non-exclusive license to use the videos for promotional purposes. Contest organizers may feature participants' names and social media handles in contest-related announcements and materials.
Disqualification and Termination:
Contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries or terminate the contest at any time due to fraudulent activities, technical issues, violation of copyright, submission of inappropriate content, or failure to comply with contest rules. Contest organizers' decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, and other aspects of the contest are final and binding.
Privacy:
Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and delivering prizes.
Winner Announcement:
Winners will be announced on the Chreece page and via direct message to the respective winners. Please review these rules and instructions to ensure they accurately reflect your contest requirements and comply with any local laws and regulations.
Eligibility:
The contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Participants must have a valid Instagram & TikTok (public) account.
How to Enter:
To enter the contest, participants must submit their best 16 bars live vocal performance video in vertical format (9 x 16 aspect ratio MP4/.MOV). Participants must provide their name and social media handle along with the video submission. The maximum duration of the video should be 90 seconds (1 minute 30 seconds). The contest is open to rappers and singers.
Entry Guidelines:
Only one entry per artist is allowed. Rappers can perform acapella or over a beat. Be creative. Entries must be recorded clearly without distortion or excessive noise. Poorly recorded entries will be disqualified. Artists must be available to compete in finals on July 18, 2026 and to perform on August 29, 2026 at Chreece to be considered.
Contest Period:
Submissions will be accepted from June 3 – June 14th. Chreece will upload the submissions on the Chreece page. Public voting by likes will begin on June 29th. Voting will end on July 6th, and the votes will be tallied. The top finalists with the most likes on their reel will be announced on July 8th. The top finalists will compete for the final spot on July 18th at the Indianapolis Artsgarden.
